Three more Uganda Cranes foreign-based players have jetted in as the team prepare for AFCON Qualifiers game against Algeria.

Danish based Moses Opondo, Musa Ramadhan and Fahad Bayo joined camp on Tuesday.

“It feels great, it’s been long, and I have been following the team,” said Opondo who plays for Horsens.

“I expect a difficult opponent (Algeria) but right now the focus is on the trainings we are having to get ready so I except everybody to give their all.”

Salim Jamal, Ismail Watenga, Juma Ibrahim, Aziz Kayondo, Halid Lwaliwa, Allan Enyou and Farouk Miya are the other foreign based players in camp as well.

Kayondo, formerly at Vipers, said that “we can win if we play as a team.”

The Cranes will play Algeria on June 18th, 2023 in the penultimate Group F game before ending ending the campaign with an away fixture against Niger.

This is a must win for the Cranes who are joint second, level on four points with Tanzania.
