Express FC fans embarked on development amongst the fans as they embraced the CBS FM’s renowned PEWOSA.
The Fans executive board led by their Chairman Julius Bakunda held a fans meeting on Sunday 22nd to usher in their new savings and development project through PEWOSA as fans were taken through the necessary steps to join the cause initiated by the fans board.
“When we visited PEWOSA offices, they availed us with record of some of their groups that have come through the project and have gained alot through developing one another and it was part of our ambitions as Express FC fans.”
“We were so touched as we couldn’t hesitate from taking the decision on behalf of our fans to join PEWOSA Sacco as Express FC fans as we target to leave a mark in the development of one another.” Said the fans chairman Julius Bakunda.
On that note, the fans management committee invited the PEWOSA savings mobiliser Mr. Daudi Zziwa also a journalist at CBS FM to educate their fans on how they can benefit from the Sacco.
On teaching the fans, Daudi Zziwa advised them to have a vision which will push them to their ambitious and targets in their aim to achieving their goals through saving a little from what they eat besides enjoying supporting the game of football.
PEWOSA is a Project to Empower Women trough Savings and Loans Associations and it was started in 2009 as a CBS project and launched by the Nabagereka of Buganda in Gayaza.
Express FC fans who wish to join the Express FC fans PEWOSA group will have to register with the fans executive committee with a minimum of 20.000 Uganda Shillings.
