The 2022 champions, Busiro Ssaza have comfirmed the appointment of Emuron Recoba as their head coach ahead of 2024 Masaza Cup edition that is due to kick off on the 22nd June 2024.
The former Kyadondo and Butambala coach was announced during a press briefing held at Das Berliner Hotel in Bulenga on Saturday 25th May.
Recoba has vowed to guide Busiro’s return to glory. Busiro failed to progress out of the group stages last year under Ibrahim Kira.
“I am delighted to be named Busiro head coach, I am going to work had and see that Busiro returns to glory.” Said Recoba.
“I am aware of the challenges but together with my team we shall work hand in hand with the technical board to see that Busiro performs better this time.” He added.
Emuron Recoba will work with a team of experienced coaches such as Nasibu Mukas First assistant, Lukyamuzi Richard as the second assistant and Hussein Mulawa the goalkeeping coach.
