Kitara FC 1-0 Express FC – Masindi Stadium.
KCCA FC got out of relegation in the Startimes Uganda Premier League after winning Soltilo Bright Stars on a 3-0 score at MTN Omondi Stadium.
The home team appeared to be a better side from the beginning with Waiswa Moses missing out an early opportunity.
Usama Arafat gifted out the home side a lead in first half after a well delivered cross from Katenga.
Waiswa Moses could earn his side the second goal but his well taken free kick was saved in by goalkeeper Derrick.
In the Second half, It was Mohamed Shaban who doubled the lead for KCCA FC in the 80th minute before Emmanuel Loki sealed in the score in the 89th minute.
KCCA FC are now 13th on the Uganda Premier League table with 10 points from 11 games.
Elsewhere Kitara FC returned to winning ways gifting Alex Isabirye his second loss at Express FC.
Kitara edged Express FC on a 1-0 score courtesy of Paul Mucureezi’s header.
Action resumes today as Maroons FC will be taking on Vipers SC at Prison Grounds.
