Real Star Monthly Awards: Ssenkatuka named best of November

Soltilo Bright Stars forward, Nelson Ssenkatuka crowned the best of November in football category by Fortebet Uganda and Real Stars sports Agency. 

Nelson was on form in the month of November, scored five goals and with that performance, he beat Sports Club Villa’s pair of Ronald Ssekiganda and custodian, Norman Angufinduru.

Nelson thanked his teammates and Fortebet Uganda Plus Real Stars sports Agency for recognizing sports personalities.

“I thank my teammates, It’s not a sole effort, we have been working together, I would like to thank fortebet and real stars sports Agency for recognizing not just football but all sports and it’s a very good initiative and it encourages us to work harder.

My form, I would say anything in particular, I have not really done so much different, I am always working hard, always doing extra training but I want to thank God for this and pray to continue even in this month.” Says Nelson Senkatuka.

In boxing, Muzamir Ssemuddu was the best for the month of November.

Titus Lual Odeke of City Oilers took home the award in the Basketball Category beating of competition from Fayed Bbaale and Tonny Drilebba

For Cricket, Brian Masaba who was among those that helped the Cricket Cranes qualify for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers topped both Alphesh Ramjan and Denish Nakrani.

Rugby was won by Peace Lekuru who came out on top of the men in Aaron Ofoyrwoth who was MVP at the 2023 Safari sevens and Ivan Magomu who shinned bright at the Victoria Cup final.

In the Pool category, Ceaser Chandiga who won the 2023 National Men’s pool Open took home the November award to beat Women champion in the same competition Rukia Nayiga and Azali Lukomwa. 

Real Stars CEO Isaac Mukasa asserted that the last awarding ceremony this year will be held in this same month as they recognize the best personality of the year and this event will mark the successful five years of the awards existence since 2018.
