Police FC 3-1 Ndejje University – Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
Police FC overcame Ndejje University on a 2-1 score in BET PAWA FUFA Big League on Thursday 5th at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
The cops managed to maintain their 100% record after winning their first two games of Young Elephants and Jinja North United on a 2-1 score and 1-0 score respectively.
Police was a better side right away from the beginning with fans at Kavumba Recreation Grounds pushing them to work hard.
In the opening minutes, Brian Obedi could get an opener for Police but instead reached seconds late to convert Duncan Sseninde’s pass.
Later in the 6th minute, Brian Obedi broke the deadlock for Police thanks to a well delivered pass from Raymond Onyai.
Police didn’t stop attacking and created several chances that would earn them more goals but Ndejje University’s goalkeeper was outstanding.
Francis Onekalit had his powerful shoot saved in for corner by Ndejje University’s custodian in the later minutes.
In the 15th minute, Police saw other beautiful chance go un utilized when Tonny Kiwalaza took in a freekick which Kalanzi headed in but Ndejje’s custodian continued to be the saviour.
With an hour mark played down, Isaac Ogwang doubled the lead for Police FC.
Ndejje could only get a consolation which came in the 80th minute thanks to Enock Omatiira’s effort.
Emmanuel Mugume scored the third for Police FC in the 90 minute to seal the 3-1 score.
The results meant Police ascended on top with nine points from three games while Ndejje University haven’t won any game and sits at buttom with 0 points.
Action resumes on 8th, October Sunday with Calvary hosting Lugazi FC, Blacks Power FC will be hosting Jinja North United.
Elsewhere Kyetume will be hosting Young Elephants, Oduparaka FC will be hosting Kataka while Kiyinda Boys will be hosting Kigezi Homeboyz.
