MASAZA CUP: Buwekula completes double over Buddu as Mawokota, Kyaggwe and Ssingo picks maximum points

Mawokota Ssaza 3-0 Kabula Ssaza.

Gomba Ssaza 1-1 Mawogola Ssaza.

Buddu Ssaza 0-1 Buwekula Ssaza.

Kyadondo Ssaza 1-1 Buluuli Ssaza.

Kyaggwe Ssaza 2-0 Kooki Ssaza.

Ssingo Ssaza 1-0 Buvuma Ssaza.

Bulemeezi Ssaza 0-0 Bugerere Ssaza.

MASAZA CUP match day seven got wrapped up with mixture of results including Buwekula completing a double over Buddu.

As it was in the first round at Mubende, Buwekula again overcame Buddu with a 1-0 score thanks to Martin Nsubuga’s only goal.

The development meant, Buwekula displaced Buddu in the top place in Masengere group with 15 points, Buddu remained second with 12 points.

In the same group Kyaggwe defeated Kooki 2-0 to go third with 10 points, Yusuf Mukwana and Julius Kalule Kato appeared on the score sheet for Kyaggwe.

In the group of Muganzirwa, Mawokota defeated Kabula 3-0 to maintain their second place with 12 points.

Joseph Kayondo, Godfrey Kiddega Okumu and Brian Muwayira were the scorers for Mawokota.

Meanwhile Gomba who lie on top of Muganzirwa with 12 points played out a 1-1 draw with Mawogola.

Lawrence Kambugu and Arafat Baluku appeared on the score sheet of either sides.

In the other game, defending champions Busiro played out a 1-1 draw with Ssese.

Ibrahim Kasenge and Shafiq Mukiibi scored for irrespective Ssazas.

The development meant, Mawogola remained third with 9 points level on points with Ssese who lie on fourth, Busiro remained fifth with 7 points while Kabula remained last with 5 points.

In the last group of Bulange, Ssingo extended their stay at top with 16 points after their 1-0 win over Buvuma thanks to only goal by Erisa Kayembe.

Other results in the group include Bulemeezi goalless draw with Bugerere and Busujju 1-0 win over Butambala.

Despite Buvuma loss to Ssingo, they remained second with 11 points, Bulemeezi remained third with 10 points, Busujju fourth with 8 points, Butambala dropped to fifth place with 6 points while Bugerere last with 3 points.
