“We came to play this game knowing that we had already lost since we knew how hard the Mwirians were in Cricket but fortunately we have so far played good Cricket” he added

On other side, the Mwiri Captain Edwin Nuwagaba was convinced that it was their batting line up that won his side the game;

“The pitch where we played from wasn’t that good since it was our first time and didn’t know how it was working but at least we told our bowler not to bowl short but put the balls in the right channels.” he said

“That helped us limit them to that (73/7) score line but we lost so many wickets since we never followed instructions with our heads up and down.” he added

“But what helped us to win was our batting line up risking one senior player to stay behind and win us the game and managed to win.” he concluded
