Ndejje Get Kampala Rockets Walkover After Colour Clash

Saturday, June 17 (YMCA)
•Kampala Rockets 00-20 Ndejje Angels (Walkover)
•Miracle Eaglets Vs Angles
•Nabisunsa Vs Magic Stormers
•KCCA Panthers Vs Our Saviour
•JKL Dolphins Vs UPDF Tomahawks

Kampala Rockets got their second round off to a worst start after losing their opener against Ndejje Angels by forfeiture.

In the first game on Saturday, Kampala Rockets came putting on similar jerseys with opponent Ndejje.

And match commissioner Barbra Okot deemed that the game cannot go on.

Due to clashing jerseys that the teams won, it’s the home team – Kampala Rockets – who were at fault.

They took to court with red and white kits, but per rules, the home team is mandated to wear light colours while the away team puts on dark colours, unless approved.

It’s said that Kampala Rockets are repeated offenders, having been in this colour-clash scenario this season with Namuwongo Blazers at Abja Parks and Rezlife Saints at Lugogo in the first round.

And it’s a big blow for Rockets who have now lost the game 20-00, their ninth loss this season.

It’s win number four for the Ndejje Angels who finished the first round rooted at the bottom.
