Our Saviour failed to produce a single basket in the whole fourth quarter in their 55-63 loss against Power at Lugogo in the National Basketball League.

Our Saviour led 55-48 after the third quarter and were on course for a sixth-straight win before a huge collapse.

They went 0-for-18 from the field and Malual Dier missed two free throws in the fourth quarter.

And Power benefited from their opponent’s barrenness to recover and win by eight points.

Our Saviour missed 26 of their 29 three point attempts in the whole game they will want to forget easily.

Samad Imran led Power with a double double of 15 points and 19 rebounds while Isaac Afidra (14) and Elvis Ssentongo (12) had immense contributions in scoring.

Malual Dier had 12 points and he was the only Our Saviour player to reach double figures in scoring.

The loss is characteristic of Our Saviour who came into this game on the back of a five-game winning streak.

It’s the fifth win for Power this season as they climax the first round on a rather pleasing note.
