NEC FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they welcome Lugazi FC at Bugolobi on Thursday.
The Bugolobi based side were held to a goalless draw against Jinja North United last week on Thursday.
That draw saw them drop to the third position and they are on 51 points, one below leaders Kitara FC.
And the home game against Lugazi will be a chance to bounce back as there is no more room to slip with a few games to climax.
In Lugazi, they welcome a side that has sights on finishing up in a better position this season.
But NEC, who hav been brilliant in their maiden Big League season, will bank on their home advantage, where they picked needed results in most of their fixtures.
They will be boosted by the return of defender Oscar Sulaiman Ssesazi, who has missed the passed games due to suspension.
On the other hand, Lugazi will be seeking to spoil NEC’s party when they take a visit to Bugolobi.
The Visitors have nothing much to play for given their position.
They are currently 6th on the table with 37 points after 27 games.
And in their latest game, they were denied by Kyetume FC, with the game ending in a 1- all draw at Lugazi.
In NEC FC, they face a side that has sights on promotional places and a big tests awaits them on thursday.
They will call upon their star man and striker Gerald Ogweti, who has been scoring goals in and out to be at his best if they are to pick something away from home.
