Golola Moses retires from local based fights.

This was after their fight with rival Hamza Keeya which was regarded as the revival match on Boxing day which was 26th DEC at Akamwesi Mall in kyebando along Gayaza road in which Golola claimed victory

Hamza keeya’s fans claimed that their partner was robbed because of the good performance he showed in the first two rounds though Golola over turned him in the last 3 rounds with punches, kicks and knees

Golola won a 3-2 Middle weight split victory with score cards of judges including 49-46, 47-48 and 50-45 in favour of Golola Moses

” l’m done with fighting Ugandan kickboxers. Either l’m too good for them or am not in their class. Fungu had promised to retire me but he looked like a chicken to me. l’m disappointed l have failed to knock him out”,Golola told

” My focus is to have two to five fights before l hang up my gloves but they will be all foreigners because, at home, l have left no stone unturned ” he concluded

Golola Moses who was born on 27th May 1980 started Active Boxing in 2003 Under Coach Abdul Nasser alongside Coach Sadat yiga who was then coaching Titus Tugume, Ronald Mugula, Malik kalisa and Abu kikenwa

Golola Moses has fought 43 times in which he has won 37 times and lost 6. His first fight outside Uganda Came in 2005 where he was in the squad of Alpha kick boxing club that represented Uganda at the East African competitions in Tanzania

In 2019, he managed to start Golola kick boxing academy with an aim of uplifting kick boxing in Uganda. He has won several rings including WFK Middle weight title, WKF light heavy title, WFK super Middle inter Continental title , National Middle Weight title among others.
