Ladies have dominated proceedings at the October ForteBet RealStars Monthly Awards that happened on Tuesday Afternoon in Kampala.
From the Five listed categories,ladies scooped three brown envelopes and plaques courtesy of ForteBet and Jude Color Solutions for their outstanding performances throughout the Month of October.
Rose Akon who recorded 93 points and 68 rebounds to guide UCU lady Canons to the 2022 Women Basketball League Crown won that category beating competition from City Oilers Francis Azolibe and Deng Dikong from Namuwongo Blazers.
For the Second time awarding the Woodball Discipline,Ndejje University’s Christine Birungi won the accolade after she had scooped Gold at the Uganda Open in Mbale,She faced off with Israel Muwanguzi and Uganda’s top seed Joan Mukova.
The third lady to win an accolade after an outstanding performance in October was Immaculate Nakisuyi from within the Cricket Category, Immaculate playing for Aziz Damani Women Team has 123 runs from 3 games.
The Other two Categories saw Vipers Soccer Club New Shot stopper Alfred Mudekereza and Andrew Sekibejja grab the awards in Football and Golf respectively.
During the event,Grace Mbatidde Resty the Assistant Public Relations Manager at ForteBet urged fellow women not to shy away from any opportunity in the sports sector.
Similarly, Jude Color Solutions through Promotions Manager,Brian Zzimbe presented a Special Award to Namiiro Phiona alias FIFI PHIONA PINKY for her ten dedicated years of serving the Sports industry.
