TRANSFERS: Express FC adds experienced goalkeeper in their armoury.

Seven time Uganda Premier League winners Express FC have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa.

Kalyowa joins the Mukwano gwa bangi team as a free agent after parting ways with Rwanda’s side Kiyovu Sports Club.

Express FC opted for the services of experienced goalkeeper Kalyowa as they will be targeting a better season than the previous one.

Kalyowa has featured for Ugandan clubs like BUL FC, URA FC, Kyetume FC and SC Victoria University.

Kalyowa has also had stints in Kenya where he featured for Sofapaka.

Emmanuel Kalyowa will be tasked to fill the void left by Kimera Abdul who departed from the club after his two seasons.

Emmanuel Kalyowa joins other new recruits at the club including Emmanuel Wasswa, Daniel Shabena, new goalkeeper Micheal Kagiri and midifielder Saidi Kyeyune.

Express FC will be opening up the 2024/25 campaign on 14th September versing new entrants Mbale Heroes at their new home Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.

The new season 2024/2025 will be starting on 13th of September as KCCA FC will be hosting URA FC at MTN Omondi Stadium.
