Rotary Cancer Run: Centenary Bank launches 2024 kit as Bakayima unveils sponsorship package
Centenary Bank Uganda has launched the official kit for the upcoming 2024 Rotary Cancer Run.
This has been launched today 5th July at Centenary Bank head offices at Mapeera house with Bakayima Property Agents coming on board.
“Cancer remains one of the leading global health challenges. As Centenary Bank, it is our unwavering obligation to do business for communities, thus being at the forefront of fighting cancer.”said Fabian Kasi.
Bakayima have come on board with a land title of 50X100ft located and it will be awarded to the winner as decided by the organisers.
“We have come on board as Bakayima to continue pushing the cause in the fight against cancer. This is just the start as we are giving back to the community through supporting the cancer run project.”
Steven Mwanje the propreitor of the Rotary Cancer Run project spoke to the media about their targets in increasing the fight against cancer with the Radiology machines and bankers set to be completed in 2027.
“Late diagnosis is why they die and so over the years we’ve partnered with hospitals and health camps to combat this cancer and we aim to establish a Cancer Centre in Nsambya for radiotherapy”, with a funding gap of 9 billion shillings.
The Cancer Center will be unveiled by 2027, with 3 billion shillings allocated this year. We invite many to come on board by getting a kit you will help us reach this milestone.
The 2024 Rotary Cancer Run will happen on the 25th August.
