Busiro started the 2024 Masaza Cup tournament with a 1-0 loss against Busujju on their return to Ssentema Ssaza ground.
Lubwama Lauben scored in the first stanza of the game to give the visitors of Busujju a hard fouht 1-0 away win.
Busiro squandered a couple of chances in the game with also missing to score a penalty kick in the first half of the game.
After being awarded the man of the match accolade for his outrageous display, Lubwama spoke to the media.
“I am very happy for winning this award and helping my team win today’s game. I thank my teammates for the hard work done which has enabled us to win away from home.” Said Lubulwa Lauben.
Busiro Ssaza team are eager to return to winning ways as they visit Mawokota and Kabula respectively in their next two fixtures.
