Tony Mawejje tips Bobosi Byaruhanga to take after him

Retired Uganda Cranes international Tony Mawejje has come out to tip current Uganda Cranes midfielder Bobosi Byaruganga as his successor.

While talking to Football 256, Mawejje said that he thinks Bobosi has rhe ability and capacity to fill his shoes and even surpass them.

According to Mawejje, Bobosi’s dreams are all coming true such as playing for the national team.

“I have a lot of hope in Bobosi and I have talked about him on several occasions,” Mawejje told Football256 before adding.

“People got to know me when I was still a young boy and they believed in me and it is that kind of support and trust I want Bobosi to have.”

“I have seen his story about how he dreamt of playing for the national team and in a few years he is there and doing well so far.”

“He is still young but one can see his capability and trust me, he is one for the future if guided well.”

“There is still a lot that he needs to learn and improve but as well there is still time because he is still in the initial stages of his career, so let’s support him,” he added.

The 20 year old has already achieved tremendous success with his former side, Vipers SC.

Bobosi has also established himself as an integral part in the Uganda Cranes squad.

Currently he’s the reigning Airtel FUFA Player of the year an award he won in 2021.
