Wakiso Giants defender Grant Matsiko is on his way out of the Club, The-SportsNation sources can report.
The best right back of the previous Uganda premier League season is said to have inked a two years contract with Vipers SC.
The former Kigezi Homeboy captain joined Wakiso Giants in 2021 and has been on a steady progress with the Purple Sharks.
Matsiko is expected to bring in competition at Vipers with Vice captain Ashraf Mandela as the Venoms seek to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023/24 footballing season.
Vipers SC have already announced the arrival of Richard Matovu and Brazilian duo of Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez and Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo
The Venoms have also parted ways with head coach Alex Isabirye who was replaced with Brazilian tactician Leo Neiva.
