Ludo to Hold Four-day Referees, Coaches’ Training Course

The Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) is set to hold a four-day training course for both referees and coaches.

It has been confirmed that the training will take place at both the ULF head offices in Nansana and YMCA, Wandegeya.

For those seeking to upgrade to grade B, the training courses will be conducted starting on 22nd July 2023 at 10 am.

While for the beginners course, it will kick off on July 23rd, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the YMCA.

While speaking about the upcoming training course, ULF Public relations officer Eric Kibalama revealed that they need more referees in the game and also help them upgrade.

“Since we are going for maiden tournaments in schools this year, we need referees. Secondly, for those upgrading, Uganda will be taking referees in Africa Ludo cup of Nations that will be held in September, in South Africa,” he said.

The registration fee for referees upgrading will be 100,000 Ug shs plus O- level certificate while for the beginners, registration will go for the same amount.
