Buddu will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host Kyaggwe at the Masaka recreation grounds in the ongoing Masaza Cup competition.
Buddu, coached by Simon Peter Mugerwa, suffered a 1-0 defeat against Buwekula in a game held last weekend.
That loss was their first in this year’s edition and also their second group game.
They had earlier beaten Kooki 2-0 in their opener, but failed to do the same against Buwekula.
While speaking ahead of the game, their head coach Mugerwa said that they want to bounce back and give joy to their fans again.
“We have prepared well ever since loosing that game against Buwekula and we want to bounce back. We want to win these two home games and give back to the fans. This is a marathon, we have to take each game as it comes, Mugerwa said.
Buddu were boosted by the arrival of Joel Sserunjogi and Isaac Ofoyrwoth, who were officially unveiled midway in the week.
And the two said players will be expected to feature in Sunday’s game against Kyaggwe.
Buddu will as well bank on their home advantage, that has over the years given them an edge against any opponent that comes at masaka.
On the other hand, Kyaggwe will be targeting maximum points as well when they visit Buddu.
They were denied by Kooki with the game ending goalless last weekend.
But just like Buddu, they had also earlier beaten Buluuli 4-1 to get off a perfect start and they are currently second in the Masengere group with four points.
And against Buddu, they will be seeking to get back to winning ways as they target getting out of this year’s group stages.
