Per the new rankings released today, June 29, the Cranes have been ranked 92nd in the World.

The decline was inevitable after Uganda Cranes lost 2-1 to Algeria during the period in Cameroon at the AFCON Qualifiers.

The Cranes also lost 1-0 against DR Congo in an international Friendly on June 18 before the Algeria game.

The Rankings come about two weeks away before the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers draw, and per the latest release, Uganda will be in Pot three of the CAF Qualifiers.
