JKL Dolphins unleashed their triple signings in the 70-57 victory over UPDF Tomahawks in the National Basketball League on Saturday at YMCA Court in Wandegeya.
Austin Oduwour, a Kenyan, led the way with a man of the Match performance thanks to a double double of 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Ahmed Kassa who joined from KIU Titans, came off the bench to score 14 points after shooting 4-for-9 from three.
Fadhil Chuma who featured for UCU Canons until last season, made his JKL debut with 4 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.
Denis Toma Omara scored a game high 20 points as JKL Dolphins picked their fourth win this season.
Felix Mukunzi (11), Ferdinand Odama (11) and Andrew Gang (10) scored in double figures for UPDF in a losing effort.
It’s loss number eight for UPDF who finished the first round with four wins.
