Saturday, May 20
•Vipers Vs Bright Stars – Kitende

Police FC will be fancying their chances in their semifinals tie of the Stanbic Uganda Cup when they face off with Adjumani TC.

But they must take a healthy first leg advantage on Monday at Kavumba in an all FUFA Big League tie.

They eliminated defending Champions BUL in a game they had to fight from down to reach this stage.

They earlier knocked out Apuutun, Pajule Lions and Ndejje University.

Police’s main target this season has been an immediate return to Uganda Premier League after relegation from last season.

Police will have eyes on Thursday as well when the Big League climax.

They are fourth on the log, a point below fellow promotion chasers NEC.

A win against Jinja North United at Kavumba will send them to UPL in case NEC fail to beat Kataka in Mbale!

Herman Wasswa who scored their winner against Booma last Thursday, will carry the scoring burden once again.

Wasswa scored a brace against Adjumani at Kavumba when the two sides met in the league last month, with Police winning the game 3-1.

Adjumani on the other hand, have already been relegated to Regional League with a game to spare.

And all their focus is on the Uganda Cup where they recently knocked out record winners Express FC thanks to a 2-0 victory.

They earlier knocked out Simba, Elite and Bunyaruguru.

But they come into this fixture off a 3-0 loss at home against Kitara FC in the league.

The return leg will be played on May 26 at Paridi to determine who storms the final, with Vipers or Bright Stars waiting at the other end.
