Gazelles forward Jane Asinde has joined the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) ahead of the 2023-24 NCAA season.
The former Magic Stormers and JKL Lady Dolphins star joins UTEP Miners after successful spells at Wichita State University’s Shockers.
It’s an epic rise for Asinde who this year had a game-high 20 points and eight rebounds to help Wichita register a historical win over top-seeded South Florida in the Quarterfinals of the American Athletic Conference Championship.
The 6-foot-1 has established herself as a rebounding machine and will be a good addition for UTEP.
Aside will be expected to join the Gazelles in June for the FIBA Women Aftobasket in Kigali, Rwanda on confirmation of the wild card.
