Preview: Time Running Out For Onduparaka

Onduparaka will be targeting nothing but a win, to keep their survival changes alive, when they welcome rivals Arua Hill, in the Uganda Premier League derby.

The Caterpillars are seated right at the rock bottom with 13 points and are set to relinquish their top flight status for the first since earning promotion back in 2016.

They have been flattering with relegation in about the last three seasons, and a defeat on Friday will draw them close to the edge of the abyss.

The side sit nine points adrift of safety and have to fight for 12 points remaining in their four games!

And it so happens that even winning their remaining games may not be enough to save the side.

A lot has gone wrong at the club, but financial hardships has been their biggest undoing.

Coach Steven Bogere left the side earlier, and Ibrahim Kongo is the man in charge at the moment.

A win against Arua Hill is a must as their last four games include KCCA (A), Vipers (H), Maroons (A) and Blacks Power (H).

Against Arua Hill, they face a side that is fifth on the table and climb to fourth with a win.

Arua Hill will be targeting for a third win in four games and a chance to return to winning ways after a 1-0 defeat against Vipers in a rescheduled fixture.

Arua Hill won the reverse fixture 2-1, in November last year, with Reagan Mpande scoring a brace at Barifa after Amos Muwonge had put the Caterpillars ahead.
