CAF Confederation Cup: BUL FC fly out, to open up in return leg

Uganda representatives in the CAF confederation cup BUL FC played out to a barren draw as they hosted Future FC from in Egypt at the St. Mary’s stadium in Kitende.

The Alex Isabirye coached side departed for Egypt where they will face off with Future in the return leg on Saturday 17th.

A squad of 20 players flew out of the country without star player George Kasonko who is yet to secure a licence due to documentation work.

Head Coach Alex Isabirye vowed to open in the return leg as he has nothing to lose in Egypt with his only focus put on scoring more goals.

“I am not worried about the return match. We are going to play an open game in order to score goals; I don’t care whether we lose because they will also be on panic to avoid goals.” said Alex Isabirye

A draw with goals will be enough for BUL FC to progress to the next round where the winner on aggregated score will face either Kallon FC from Sierra Leone or Borguo from Benin.
