Blacks Power In Relegation Dog Fight

Blacks Power will hope to pick maximum points when they face Maroons in a league game at Akii-bua Stadium in Lira.

The hosts sit second from the bottom with 16 points, six adrift of safety.

And with seven games to go, Blacks Power are well aware that they must play each game like a final.

They come into this fixture on the back of a 2-0 loss against Vipers, but their last home game was a draw with KCCA.

It promises to be a tight game especially that the Visitors are yet to drop a game this year.

Maroons have won three and drawn as many in the league in this second round!

And that includes seven points out of a possible nine on the road – beating Busoga United and Wakiso Giants and a 1-1 draw against KCCA at Lugogo.

Blacks Power won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Luzira; Dickens Okwi, Mike Siwu and Simon Otto scored for the visitors while Solomon Walusimbi got Maroons consolation.
