She Corporate and Lady Doves played out a goalless draw in a FUFA Women Super league game held at the Katusabe grounds in Masindi.

The two sides, who are trying to save their season, failed to find a breakthrough and nothing could separate them on the day.

The draw saw She Corporate, who are defending champions, remain 5th with 18 points and are just three points above safety.

For Lady Doves, it was a vital point for them as they moved out of the red zone. They are now 8th on the log with 15 and must also play each game like a final with three games to end the season.

Elsewhere, Kawempe Muslim came from a goal down to pick a hard fought 2-1 win over newcomers Asubo Gafford in a game held at Kawempe grounds.

A second half brace from Shakira Nyinagahirwa ensured that the Ayub Khalifa coached side completed a come back.

Kamiat Naigaga had earlier put the visitors in the 30th minute, a goal that seperated the sides at half time.

The two goals for Nyinagahirwa saw her move to 11 goals and is the current top scorer in the league with three games to go.

It has been an impressive season for the Kawempe Muslim midfielder, who also topped the top scorers chats in the just concluded UMEA competition with 14 goals.

Her side Kawempe moved to 26 points and are in the second position.

For Asubo, it was a big blow in their quest to avoid relegation battles this season. They remained 7th with 16 points and must now play each game like a final in three games to end the season.
