Gaddafi FC arrested their poor run with a hard fought 1-0 win over Bright Stars in a league game played at Kavumba.
Crispus Yosa Asiki scored his first goal after he was set up by Alex Kitata just before the hour-mark.
Bright Stars could have quickly got a leveller through Nelson Ssenkatuka but his curled freekick was kept out by Crispus Kusiima.
Gaddafi end a five-game winless run in the league. The Jinja-based side had last won against URA in December last year.
And the victory completes a double for Gaddafi who beat Bright Stars 3-0, with Kitata hat-trick, in the reverse fixture.
The Visitors had drawn their last three games goalless, and a victory is a sigh of relief for coach Wasswa Bbosa.
Bright Stars on the other hand, who lost to SC Villa in their previous game, have lost their last four league games!
