Bright Stars Seek To End Winless Run

Bright Stars will fancy their chances against Gaddafi as the sides meet on Match-day 22 of the Uganda Premier League at Kavumba.

The Hosts will go all out to snap their losing run after losing three games in a row – UPDF (0-1), URA (0-2) and SC Villa (0-1).

The last one against SC Villa, the Stars had fared well against the leaders at Wankulukuku, only to conceded in the 70th minute courtesy of a good goal by Charles Bbaale.

Bright Stars have looked unstoppable while playing at home, and beaten top sides like KCCA and BUL at the venue this season.

They sit 10th with 24 points, just a point below ninth-placed opponents Gaddafi.

Gaddafi on the other hand, are under a poor run as well – They are winless in last five (0W, 4D, 1L).

They have registered one win on the road this season, beating Busoga United in November this year.

Bright Stars lost the first round fixture 3-0, with Alex Kitata scoring a hat-trick at Kakindu.
