There will be no room for error as NEC FC welcome Kaaro Karungi at the coffee grounds on Thursday in a FUFA Big League game.
The Bugolobi based side were denied maximum points as they conceded late against Adjumani TC FC in their latest game last week away from home.
That draw denied them a chance to close the gap at the top, and they remained on 41 points, five below leaders Kitara.
And they return home with sights on bouncing back to winning ways Infront of their home fans.
There is no room to slip anymore with a few games to climax this year’s Fufa Big League season and there must a reaction from NEC as they seek to put pressure on the top sides.
Once again, their outstanding captain Marvin Kavuma will be called upon to be at his best and also rally his teammates to stage a better performance on thursday.
Meanwhile, the visitors, Kaaro Karungi on the hand will be seeking to start their journey of saving their season.
The ibanda based club played out to a goalless draw against Lugazi in their previous game at home.
And that draw saw them move to 29 points in the 9th position and are just three points above safety.
They face a NEC FC side that has ambitions on promotion places and they will need to be at their best if they are to pick up any positive result away from home.
