We are not afraid of anyone- BUL roars

Last season’s Stanbic Uganda cup winners BUL FC have revealed how they are not afraid of anyone on the Continent as they head to the preliminary rounds of the CAF Confederations Cup.

This will be the first time the Jinja based side is taking part in a Continental competition.

BUL will host Egyptian side Future FC who are also debuting on the Continent.

The game will go down at St Mary’s stadium in Kitende on tomorrow for the first leg.

While speaking about this game, BUL FC’s assistant coach Richard Kasule expressed his optimism about the game.

He said that they are not afraid as the game is at home and they hope for a positive start.

“We know how difficult the task ahead of us is,” BUL assistant coach Richard Kasule told the club media before adding.

“But we are ready to battle Future FC and I am optimistic that we shall have a good start because that is the first target being at home.”

“It is an Egyptian team and we all know how good teams from North Africa are but it is also good to gauge yourself against the best.”

“Our preparations began early because after winning the Uganda Cup we had a short break and returned to training.”

“After learning about our opponent we hardened our preparations and at the moment, we are ready to go. It is an extra motivation that we have no injuries,” he added.

Future FC was also able to win the league cup of Egypt the EFA.

The return leg will be played in Egypt on the 17th of September. The winner on aggregate will take on either Buffles of Benin or Kallon FC from Sierra Leone in the next round of the qualifiers.
