The draws for the quarter finals of the 11th edition of Pepsi University Football League held Today, Thursday, 1st February 2024 at Kati Kati Restaurant Lugogo.

The two time champion, Kampala University fall again in the line of their last season tormentor, St Lawrence University.

Kampala University who won this league’s title in 2013 and 2016 lost home and away against St Lawrence University at this quarter final level last season, Bruno Bunyaga now the URA FC forward had hat-trick in the 5-1 St Lawrence aggregate victory.

Speaking to this website after the draws, Kampala University Sports Tutor, Martha Soigi asserted that they went on the drawing board and they believe this time round, it won’t be a walk in the park for Davis Nono’s St Lawrence.

“I am very glad that we have qualified for the quarter finals and my opponent is St Lawrence, this is not the first time we are meeting them at this level, this time round we have gone back to the drawing board and of course we are hoping to win.” Say Martha Soigi.

“We haven’t added more players, we shall focus much on those we have been having because they have not been bad, however, we expect to add like three because some are overaged, no longer qualify to play in this championship.” She added.

The league will resume on 15th February and the teams seeded in pot B will be the first to host the fixture. The pot B are the teams that collected less points and those in pot A are the ones that collected better points at group stage level.
