Kakyeka retains back hosting rights

Kakyeka Stadium, the home ground for Mbarara City FC have finally been approved by FUFA to host home games in the second round of UPL.

FIFA had refused Kakyeka Stadium to host games because of its playing surface more especially when it rains, many teams cry fouls but in a turn of events FUFA has approved it again.

” Mbarara City FC will host it’s home matches during the second round of the 2023-2024 season at Kakyeka Stadium” The UPL Secretariat confirmed.

Express FC will be the first team to test Kakyeka’s sweetness in the second round as the game is scheduled to be there on 2nd of Feb.

It has to be remembered that before the start of the season, FUFA had declined Kakyeka Stadium to host home games for Mbarara City but finally accepted due to the conditions Mbarara City fulfilled.

Many teams have struggled to pick points at Kakyeka this season including big sides, KCCA FC, Vipers and SC Villa.
