Vipers maintained their unbeaten run when they edged Wakiso Giants on a 3-0 score at St Mary’s Kitende.
Midifielder Abdul Karim Watambala scored a brace while Yunus scored one for the Venoms.
Vipers started a better side and this paid off in the 14th minute when Abdul Lumala set well Watambala who shoot in wide.
Two minutes later, Abdul Lumala launched in another cross which Yunus headed but Wakiso Giant’s goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya stretched for a save.
Wakiso Giants first attempt came in the 34th minute when Andrew Samson Kigozi was set well but Vipers Custodian Jack Komakech denied him.
Watambala could earn Vipers a double in the 60th minute but Bashir Ssekagya stretched in for other brilliant save.
In the 66th minute, Yunus Sentamu doubled the lead for Vipers when he looped Ssekagya from a short distance from the center.
Vipers continued to attempt but were unlucky to find the third.
In the 90th minute, Abdul Karim Watambala completed the 3-0 score for Vipers thanks for a well delivered pass from Yunus Sentamu.
Vipers are still unbeaten after winning four and drawing two in their opening six games.
Vipers will next play KCCA FC at MTN Omondi Stadium while Wakiso Giants will be hosting Express FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
