SUPL: BUL edge SC Villa to maintain perfect start

SC Villa 1-2 BUL FC – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Gaddafi FC 0-1 Busoga United – Gaddafi Arena.

BUL FC continued with their perfect run when they edged SC Villa on a 2-1 score at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

SC Villa came into the game on a three match unbeaten run but again couldn’t withstand the strong BUL FC’S influence.

All the two goals scored by BUL FC were from SC Villa’s weakness to clear away balls from corner kicks.

George Kasonko opened the score for BUL FC in the 34th minute after a well delivered corner from Jerome Kirya.

Three minutes later, Ronald Otti doubled the lead for BUL FC after SC Villa failed again to deal with the corner situation.

SC Villa came into second half recharged and we’re the better side though couldn’t score the two goals to level the game.

Dusan Stojanovic made two early changes introducing striker Charles Lwanga and Ronald Ssekiganda.

Midifielder Umar Lutalo scored the consolation of SC Villa in the 63rd minute.

The results took BUL FC to 15 points in the first place, Meanwhile SC Villa dropped to 9th place on 5 points.

In other games played, Busoga United edged Gaddafi FC on a 1-0 at Gaddafi Arena
