SUPL: Busoga United, Mbarara City FC share spoils

Busoga United 0-0 Mbarara City FC – FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Arua hills 0-0 Gaddafi FC – Interrupted.

The Startimes Uganda Premier League took action yesterday on Thursday 20th with two games.

Busoga United played out a goalless draw with Mbarara City FC at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Busoga came into the game after losing their last two games of NEC and Express and so a draw could be the end of their poor run.

On the other side, Mbarara City FC failed again to win their first game in Uganda Premier League.

It was the third consecutive goalless draw for Mbarara City FC who drew goalless with Express and Vipers as well.

The results means Busoga United moved to 10th place with 4 points from 4 games while Mbarara City in 11th place with 3 points from 4 games.

Busoga United will next play Gaddafi FC at Gaddafi Arena while Mbarara City FC will be hosting Arua hills at Kakyeka Stadium.

In the other game of Arua hills and Gaddafi, it was interupted by a heavy down pour with only 25 minutes that were covered.

FUFA released a statement on how these two sides will again battle today on Friday 20th October at 10:AM.

Action resumes today with four games.

Vipers SC will be hosting SC Villa at St Mary’s Kitende while Kitara will be hosting KCCA FC.

BUL will be hosting Maroons FC while NEC FC will be entertaining UPDF FC.
