Lady Rugby Cranes off to Tunisia for the Olympics qualifiers

The National Council for Sports (NCS) has officially flagged of the Lady Rugby Cranes to Tunisia for the  Africa Rugby Women Sevens tournament.

The 15 players have a double task of becoming the Africa Champions which will be a straight ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The two day tournament which will run from 14th to 15th October will see the Lady Rugby Cranes vie for an Olympics slot as they tussle it out with Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Madagascar, Ghana and Tunisia the hosts.

Uganda is pitted in Pool A with South Africa the 8 time holders of the Africa Rugby Sevens tournament alongside Tunisia the hosts and Zimbabwe who make up the group of death.
