Defender Andrew Kaggwa to use Exprees as ladder for greener pastures

Express FC new singing Andrew Kaggwa has revealed how he intends to use the club to fulfill his dreams of playing abroad.

The right back joined rhe Red Eagles on a two year deal from Soltilo Bright Stars.

According to the footballer, he believes that he made the right call in regards to his career.

Kaggwa says that Express is the right place to lead him to greener pastures.

He added how he can’t wait to get started and help the club in the competitions it will be taking part in.

“My dream is to one day play from overseas and on the Uganda Cranes national team,” Kaggwa told the club media before adding.

“I believe I have joined a club that will help in making my dream come true, this opportunity means a lot to me and I can not wait to get started.”

“As a right back I intend to perform even better while here as compared to have I have been performing where I have been,” he added.

He spent 4 years with Bright Stars before making this move. Bright Stars didn’t renew his contract leaving him as a gree agent.

Mukwano Gwabangi has so far signed other players such as Marvin Oshaba, Joseph Dhata, Hamim Ssemakula, Benjamin Gakumba, and Kada Bitakazibwa.

Most of the senior players have massively moved on and the headcoach James Odoch has signed only youngsters as he embarks on a rebuilding phase.
