Pepsi University Football League: Kampala University defeat Bishop Stuart to get off the mark

Kampala University 2-1 Bishop Stuart University

Two time Pepsi University Football League Champions Kampala University staged a late come back to overcome Bishop Stuart University at their home Luzira grounds.

Bishop Stuart University scored first through Arinda but failed to defend their lead as they conceded two goals in the closing minutes.

Kampala University scored through Wabomba Emmanuel scored in the 86th minute and Namondo Collins in the 88th minute.

Bishop Stuart’s head coach Farouk Karungi blamed his players who lacked concentration.

” We lost the concentration and failed to stick to the game plan, and that cost us the game but we shall head back to the drawing board and come back stronger”.

Kampala University head coach Vincent Tumusiime revealed on the tactics he used to overcome Bishop Stuart University.

” W head to reshuffle our midifield on the second half to gain control of the midifield, and it paid off in the second half”.

” It was a challenging game, as the first game is usually tricky, so we had to come up with solutions in the second half to help us win”.
