CAF Confederation Cup: KCCA FC depart for continental football 

13 time Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA FC have departed tye country in the wee hours to Tunisia where they will face Libya’s Abu Salim in CAF Confederation Cup first round.

KCCA FC received a bye in the second preliminary round are eager to pick a positive result away from home as they face Abu Salim of Libya with the aggregated winner qualifying to the group stages.

The Kasasiro boys comfirmed a traveling squad of 21 players who are tasked to do the job away from home in the first leg match.

The first leg is scheduled to be played on 17th September, Sunday at Olympique de Rades in Tunisia where Abu Salim hosts from.

KCCA FC will later host Abu Salim FC on 23rd September 2023 at At Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Derrick Ochan, Anthony Emojong. 

Defenders:

Bruno Adilson Mfulu, Herbert Achai, Peter Magambo, Filbert Obenchan, Emilson Gonzaga, Mustafa Mujjuzi.

Ashraf Mugume, Eufranio Cungulo Da Silva Gui, Faizal Wabyona, Saidi Mayanja, Moses Waiswa, Hassan Mubiru, Joao Gabriel.

Julius Poloto, Usama Arafat, Etienne Katenga, Mohamed Shaban, Abubakar Mayanja.
