Arua Sports Club have completed the signing o defender John Rogers Okumu.
The versatile defender joins as a free agent following his expiration of his working contract at local city rivals Oduparaka FC.
Okumu Rogers has put pen on paper a two year working contract with the Kongolos side.
“Free agent John Okumu Rogers joins us on a 2 year deal. The aggressive Ruo is versatile, capable of playing across the backline and either flank” Arua hills confirmed the development.
New signing John Rogers Okumu comes in after the club had released reliable defenders including skipper Rashid Toha, Bright Vuni and Richard Matovu.
Last season, Rogers Okumu only played 14 games for Oduparaka though didn’t help them stay in Uganda Premier league.
The Club will be announcing more new players as they continue preparations of new season.
Among the released players include Rashid Toha, Innocent Media, Rogers Omedwa, Innocent Maduka, Bright Joseph Vuni, Isaac Okello, Richard Anyama and Richard Matovu.
