Express FC confident about new signing Hamim Ssemakula’s impact on youngsters

Wankulukuku based Uganda Premier League has this transfer window generally decided to concentrate on singing youngsters whilst letting the experienced players depart the club.

However, young players always need to play with the experienced players who they are bound to learn a lot from.

This is the reason Express FC is very confident about the impact defender Hamim Ssemakula will have on the younger squad.

Hamim was signed after leaving Ndejje University FC on a 3 year deal.

The club’s coach James Odoch has expressed his optimism about this new singing saying that he will have a great impact on the young squad.

“Hamim Semakula is a very good player with a lot of experience which will be important in our predominantly young squad,” said Odoch to the club media.

Ssemakula who plays as a left back has previously played for the likes of Kiboga Young FC, Simba SC, Saints FC, and Mbarara City FC .

While speaking about his new move, he expressed his delight and said that he can’t wait to get started.

“I am happy to join one of the biggest clubs in the country and I hope to help it achieve its goals during my time with it,” said the defender.

He joins the likes of Joseph Dhata, Marvin Oshaba, Kada Bitakazibwa, and Benjamin Gakumba who have already signed for the Red Eagles.
