Pilsner Awards: Bbaale, Odoch clinch April Awards

SC Villa forward Charles Bbaale and Express FC head coach James Odoch have been voted as the Pilsner Player and Coach of the Month of April respectively.

Both were awarded with them accolades during the awarding ceremony held at Kati Kati restaurant in Lugogo on a Thursday  evening.

The Startimes Uganda Premier League entertained some brilliant performances in the month of April with a couple of teams putting up an outstanding performance based on individual brilliance with a few player keeping up with consistency.

Charles Bbaale is one of the players who was consistent in the month of April as he helped his side SC Villa collect nine points from the 5games they played which saw him score five goals to his name.

This has seen the young lad being named the Pilsner Player of the month of April as he saw off competition from Wakiso Giants’forward Shariph Kimbowa and Arua Hill player Innocent Media.

Both Media and Kimbowa scored three goals but they couldn’t beat Charles Bbaale to the award despite their brilliant performances in the league.

For the Coach of the month Award, James Odoch looked to have revived Express FC fading season with the brilliant performances in the month of April which saw his side claim in unbeaten run in the four games they played.

Express managed to win two games and two draws as they collected 8points out of the maximum 12.

Odoch beat Vipers head coach Alex Isabirye and SC Villa coach Jackson Magera to the April Award.
