Uganda Premier League: Busoga United fight back to rescue a point against BUL

Busoga United 1-1 BUL FC – Kakindu stadium.

Busoga United came a goal behind to secure a point against league strugglers BUL at Kakindu stadium.

Both teams were awarded with penalty though Busoga United failed to convert one of his two penalties.

Ibrahim Kazindula opened the score for BUL in the 27th minute through a penalty kick.

Star man Laban Tibita levelled matters for the hosts in the 53rd minute through a penalty kick.

Moments later, Busoga United was awarded with another penalty though this time Laban Tibita failed to pass the ball along goalkeeper Saidi Keni.

BUL FC under Simeon Masaba have now gone five games with out a win.

The results left them in the 5th place with 32 points from 22 games.

On the other side, Busoga United moved to 12th place with 23 points from 23 games.

Busoga United will continue hunt for league survival on May 3rd as they will be visiting Soltilo Bright stars.

BUL FC will host the same opponent on April 28th in their next encounter.
