Al Ahly 3-0 Hilal
Egyptian side Al Ahly had to battle with Sudanese side Hilal on the last day to get confirmed in CAF Champions League Quarter finals.
The game was played at Cairo International Stadium and Al Ahly defeated Hilal by 3 goals to 0.
Mahmoud kahraba scored first in the 24th minute and his goal was the only difference in first half.
Al Ahly continued the hunt in the second half until Al Shahat netted in the 63rd minute before he finished his brace in the 83rd minute.
Al Ahly came into the game 3rd with 7 points while Hilal came 2nd with 10 points, Al Ahly needed only a win to qualify which they got so easily.
Al Ahly joins 2016 winners Mamelodi Sundowns who finished on top with 14 points.
Al Ahly are the record CAF Champions League winners, they have won it 10 times.
