The 11th edition of the University Football League was due to kick off earlier today as defending champions Uganda Martyrs University kickoff the 2023 season as they host Bugema University in Nkozi but it has been postponed to a further date due to unforeseen circumstances.
The 2033 edition of the University Football League will have six groups with Kampala International University (KIU) making a return after missing the past two editions. ISBAT University are the only debutants and are placed in group F alongside Bishop Stuart University, Kampala University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
The top team after a home and away basis from each group will qualify to the knockout round and joined by the top two best placed teams.
