Algeria and Senegal reach first ever CHAN final

Algeria and Senegal have reached their first ever CHAN finals after defeating their Rivals Niger and Mauritania 5-0 and 1-0 respectively.

For Algeria, Aimen Mahious scored a double in the 25th and 34th before his captain Ayoub Abdellaoui had opened in the 15th minute.

The other two goals were scored by katkore in the 45th minute (OG) and Sofiane Bayazid in the 83rd minute.

Algerian striker Aimen Mahious two goals lifted him to 5 goals as the leading top scorer of the tournament.

For Senegal, Pape Diallo opener in the 5th minuted sealed Senegal’s seat to the finals.

Madagascar didn’t bounce back in the Second half though they possessed most.

Senegal registered 9 shoots, 3 were on Target While Madagascar registered 3 shoots and none was on Target this explains how uncreative Madagascar was.

Senegal Celebrate their only goal

Algeria and Senegal have reached their first Ever final in CHAN history ever since it Kicked off in 2009.

Algeria best run came in 2011 when they finished 3rd.

Madagascar and Niger were also debutantes in CHAN and they impressed defeating big giants including giants like Cameroon, Ghana.

Algeria’s Nelson Mandela will host the finals which will be there on 4th February.
