Farouk Katongole joins Big league side Kitara FC

Big league table leaders Kitara FC have completed the signing of defender Farouk Katongole from Express fc.

Katongole has signed a six month working contract for kitara FC and renewal will depend on the promotion of the team to topflight leage of Uganda.

Farouk katongole becomes the 4th signing of Sam Ssimbwa’s side having got the early signatures of Geofrey Lwesibawa, George Senkaaba and Paul Mucureezi.

Farouk katongole has featured for teams like Tooro United, Soltilo Bright stars, URA FC and recently Express fc.

He signed 2 years working contract with Express fc though he has only appeared there 5 months for the Red Eagles.

Currently kitara FC are at top of the FUFA big league with 31 points from 15 games only 1 point above Mbarara city and NEC FC who are in the 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Kitara FC have only conceded 10 goals from 15 games of the first round.

0n Sunday 29th Jan they knocked out Free stars 3-0 in Penalties after a goalless draw in the 90 minutes.
