Mark Twinamatsiko: Big league table leaders suspend head coach

Big league table leaders Kitara FC have announced the suspension of head coach Mark Twinamatsiko for a period of two months with immediate effect.

This has been communicated through a letter from Kitara FC management as they felt safe to keep the reason behind his suspension unsaid.

“The Kitara FC management has with immediate effect suspended head coach Mark Twinamatsiko for two months until 23rd March due to internal reasons.” Read part of the document

“He will receive his monthly salaries throughout the entire duration of his suspension.”

Mark Twinamatsiko will replaced by his assistant coaches Richard Makumbi and Denis Kiyimba during his time as he will be out of club duties.

Twinamatsiko has been so vital in Kitara FC’s first round performance in the FUFA Big league which has seen them end on a high as table leaders with 31 points from the 15 games played.

The reason behind Twinamatsiko’s suspension is yet to be officially known but sources link it to the transfer business the club has been conducting after letting go of their top scorer Patrick Kaddu.

Kitara FC are now currently in preparation for the second of the FUFA Big league.
